He normally is all smiles, but suddenly he very seriously said that he hopes the next time I would tell him. (Does your boyfriend really hate Fong Lik Sun?) No, he wasn't mad. I told him it wasn't extreme, we only lay there." Siu Fong suggested, "Tell him to come to the premiere, let me shake his hand and apologize."

Would she ask her boyfriend before another intimate scene? She said, "We would have to talk abou it. He is conservative, but after this time we got to know each other better." Have you been slacking off?'" Hak Jai wished Lau Tak Wa Happy Birthday in advanced and wanted to tell him not to take too many risks. The 5 day long Chinese Film Panorama 2017 opened last night. 16 films will be screened, two of which wll be free. Famous director Lu Chuan's BORN IN CHINA was the opening flm. The film took over 3 years to complete and was one of the most diffcult production for Lu Chuan.

Would he stop making animal films? He said, "No, I just want to take a break. Because the previous film CITY OF LIFE AND DEATH took 5 years to wrap, I was rather exhausted. If I would have spent another 5 years, I would have really collapsed. As for not wanting to make the same subject it wasn't related to how diffcult it was. I only feel that life is short. I hope to try differen subjects in my film career, I don't want to repeat myself. Maybe ten years later I will try it agan. I don't want to be typecas as the 'animal director', so earlier when big offers were made to me to make moves about sharks and sea turtles I turned them all down."

He revealed that he is planning a disaster that will start production at the end of the year. For now no actor has been confirmed. Later an audition will take place. Would he like to work with Hong Kong actors? He said, "I won't eliminate the possibility. Because I have always worked with Hong Kong film companies, I really like Hong Kong actors." Among Hong Kong actors he admired were Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Chow Yun Fat, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, he praised how amazing they were. Would he take this opportunity to meet them in Hong Kong? He said, "This trip is on a tight schedule, in addition for collaborations we have to take our time, sit down and talk. This time I probably won't have the time."

Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin in the Emperor Motion Picture MURDER IN SAN JOSE (SING HOR SAI MAU SAT ON) played a mistress. Two days ago she and her on screen boyfriend Patrick Tam Yiu Man worked in Sai Kung. Ah Sa said that she ran into a cheater bfore and state her instinct was very happy. When she recognized that he was cheating she immediately broke up with him.

Choi Cheuk Yin and Tam Yiu Man two days ago worked on the Calvin Poon Yuen Leung directed Emperor Motion Picture MURDER IN SAN JOSE. In thes tory Ah Sa was mistaken for having an affair with Tam Yiu Man, leading to the suicide of Tam Yiu Man's girlfriend. Ah Sa stated that in the film she and Tam Yiu Man grew fond of each other as time went on. She knew that he had a girlfriend but she still wanted to be with him. In the end she could not withstand the party of three and left him.

Ah Sa said that in reality she absolutely could not accept a third party. She felt that everything had cause and effect. She did not want her significant other to have a third party, naturally she would not be a third party. However she admitted that she had a boyfriend who was cheating on her. She said, "Women's intuition is very strong. I would sense it. In addition there would be a lot of clues. I would immediately break up, I wouldn't question her because as soon as I would there would be a lot of excuses. (Would your stance soften if he would coax you?) When I love I really love, I would not care abou anything else. If he cheas that he doesn't cherish my love. (You are willing to give it up?) Nothing I can do, I can't accept cheating but I never count how long before I would calm down. After some time I would forget, perhaps when the next relationship comes I would forget."

Tam Yiu Man guest starred for a day. The last time he worked with Ah Sa was A CHINESE TALL STORY (CHING DIN DAI SING), which was the group scene. Finally they could try playing a couple, bu they had no intimate scene. He also said tha he was afraid of trouble so he absolutely would not cheat. Differen women have expressed fondness for him at the same time, but he would choose for a long time before settling on someone to date. He could count his relationships in one hand. After getting into the business he would make even less misake. He said that if he did it would not be able to escape anyone's eye.

The film PARADOX (SAT POR LONG TAM LONG) since its release has made over 520 million yuan RMB in the Mainland and almost HK$ 8 million in Hong Kong to become the highest grossing domestic action film this summer. The team two nights ago held a celebration. Attending actors included Louis Koo Tin Lok, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Michelle Saram (Suet Yi) and Hanna Chan. The film company spent HK$ 500,000 for cash prize drawing, but with help from Goo Jai and Ka Tung the boss increased the amount to HK$ 1.7 million. At the same time they celebrated the birthdays of a pair of actors and everyone was very happy.

When Koo Tin Lok was asked to chip in for the lucky drawing, the crowd kept chatting "Best Actor, Best Actor". Goo Jai said, "Thank you everyone, awards depend on fate. I am already very happy that the audience likes it!" Lam Ka Tung and Hanna Chan's birthdays were on the 21st and the 23rd respectively. Everyone celebrated with them. Hanna Chan even received HK$ 100,000 from the film company for encouragement.

Goo Jai admitted that it was rare for the entire team to be able to dine together. Later he will return to the Mainland to work on the Roy Chow Hin Yeung directed DYANSTY WARRIORS. Speaking of the company supporting him with a Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor nomination submission, Goo Jai said, "I also hope it would happen because I am happy to be able to make a good movie. Whether I win an award or not fate will decide!"

Speaking of Jessica Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen) joining Goo Jai's management company, he only said that her manage should answer that questoin. Would he like to work with her again? Goo Jai said, "Of course I do, we haven't seen each oher for a long time. I know that many friends online want us to work together again, whether in film or otherwise!" Goo Jai admitted that he watched Suen Huen in MY UNFAIR LADY and felt that the most amazing thing was that she did not change much. He sad, "Her acting kept improving, but she aged in reverse and was competely anti-gravity. I chatted with her and learned that she was very well balanced with her diet, sleep and exercise. I can't do that!"

Goo Jai revealed that his sleep quality was very poor. He would sleep for two hours before waking up automatically like an alarm clock. He asked a doctor and it migh before blood flow and too much stress. Goo Jai said, "I have too much to remember in my brain. Often when I dream I am working on movies. I wouldn't take sleeping pills. Nothing I can do, I am already used to it!"

Lam Ka Tung admitted that PARADOX was his highest grossing film. He hoped that Hong Kong could have even better box office with outstanding word of mouth. Ka ung is working on the Soi Cheang Po Shui directed new film JI CHI (WISDOM TOOTH) with Ang Lee's son Mason Lee. Ka Tung said that earlier Director Cheang wanted him to look for the loot in the garbage in fron of the latrine and ended up injuring his hand. He also pulled up limping as he ran a lifetime worth of running. Ka Tung said that the director liked crazy, silly and extreme things.

Suet Yi was excited about the success of the film. Now she also have other film offers. She did not set any bottom line for herself, but she felt that being sexy for not suitable for her because she was not sexy. No one would ask her to be sexy, and she believed that her husband would not like it anyway.

With the right script, Kara Wai would be interested in returning to TVB
Kara Wai admits that the older she gets, the less confidence she has in making action films

Best Actress Kara Wai Ying Hung in this month's release MRS. K plays a retired robber who settles in Malaysia. Because the loot's whereabouts is unknown, her entire family becomes the target. Finally she begins ferociously fighting against her enemies. In the heat of the summer she worked on location there for over two months, Siu Hung admitted that she used up a lot more energy. The scene that originally took one day took two to shoot.

Speaking of her Malaysian Best Actor Faizal Hussein, Siu Hung has many scenes with him and remembers shooting on the streets during rush hour. "That scene was shot without permission. When I ran into the streets I really had to watch out for cars myself. As soon as we got out to the streets we ran." She said that Faizal is a dramatic actor, so the action scenes made him sick. She worked out with three coaches three months before the shoot began. "I am OK physically. The toughest is to jump down to the underpass, because of the height I needed wires. I had to put on the wires first then my clothes, run for awhile before jumping. Each time I jumped I really wanted to quit, I really was out of energy."

Since she started she has made over 40 years of action films, Siu Hung earlier already announced that this film would be her last action film. "Actually I hope to give myself a promise, my bones are bad and I don't want to keep going. The action may no be as pretty with a stunt double." She said that this was already the third time she and director Ho Yuhang worked together. Six years ago she already promised him that she would participate in the action film. "At the time I just finished WU XIA, thinking that at age 52 I would be OK. However he kept changing the script, so I gave him an ultimatum. When I turn 57 I wouldn't make it. Mainly as I get older, my confidence falls. I am starting to get less gutsy."

Siu Hung has not made a series again in years. Would she return home to TVB for a drama after retiring from fight films? She said, "I have never said that I wouldn't. Maybe they don't have any suitable script they haven't contacted me, or maybe I am not that cheap."

Philip Ng Won Lung in the film THE COLOR OF THE GAME (HAK BAK MAI GUNG) played a mob thug Ko Tin, who followed mob boss Big Wa (Simon Yam Tat Wa) into dangerous missions for the organization. In the film Philip excelled in blades and is known for his speed with them, thus he had many fight scenes.

Philip personally performed all the stunts, even when he was hurt he was not deterred as he insisted on continuing the shoot. Philip said, "In one scene I had to fight with the (Ken) Law Ho Ming played mob thug in quite a very ferocious scene. In one scene Law Ho Ming grabbed me and broke my broke. The scene was very cruel! Law Ho Ming has a boxing background and a lot of muscles. Any mishap in that scene would have truly ended up in a broken arm! Luckily we were prepared before the shoot and repeatedly rehearsed many time to avoid any accident. In the end he result was also very realistic."

Director Kam Ka Wai was very pleased with action director and actor Philip. "I hope to have the blood boiling feeling in these fight scenes, so visually I wanted to send 'blood and flesh flying'. Philip very attentively designed and directed all the action scenes for me, and constantly rehearsed with other actors. During the shoot he even kept improving the stunts for he visuals to be even more realistic."

Did Philip truly "see red" during the shoot? He sad, "Everyone would go all out in our fight scenes in order to be realistic. Several times we had accidents that ended up in nosebleeds. After they stopped we continued to shoot. When I watched the playback I couldn't tell what was real blood and what was fake!"

However Master said that if the film would perform well at the box office, he would keep making movies. I hope in the next one I would be able to play the school beauty, haha!"

Yip Chi Yu said ha she was rather anxious about her silver screen debut. She called Rose for advice over all things big and small, even Master joked that Rose was more like their manager.

Did she miss her children at home? She said, "I would, at the same time I love acting too much. I enjoy it as I am able to challenge new characters. Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin starred in MURDER IN SAN JOSE (SING HO SAI MAU SAT ON). After 14 years they reunited again and had many scenes together. Their emotional scenes added a lot of pressure to them. Sammi said, "Actually Ah Sa's and my characters are very demanding! We have to interpret the hidden ugly human nature. With such rich layers in the character, to me it is very challenging."

Ah Sa humbly said, "This film don't have any big scene or outrageous twist, as it purely relies on the actors' abilities to draw in the audience. Whenever important scenes are shot, everyone have to work hard to avoid emotional distraction. Sammi and (Tong) Dawei's characters are very complicated, with a lot of emotional scenes; my character is simpler, but the story in the end would become very heavy."

The team went to Vancouver, Canada and San Jose, U.S.A. for location shoots, then returned to Hong Kong and Shenzhen to complete the remaining scenes. Director Calvin Poon Yuen Leung took the team to North America, which Sammi said was extremely helpful to the actors with getting into characters. "When a group of people goes to a different place, human nature would create different degree of change -- which may be good or bad. This is one of the themes that the original script wanted to bring out. I feel that everyone during the shoot changed a little, maybe with less trivial matters. In addition director Poon Yuen Leung was very attentive, the team became very focused."

He also already have the support for Emperor boss Albert Yeung Sau Sing.

Speaking of Hacken directing a film next year. He said that he already had the support from boss Mr. Yeung. He never said anything about a cap on the investment. "I hope to make a special warm and romantic film. The first one won't aim too high. After the concerts I will start forming the team and participate in the script. I haven't thought about the female lead. I don't want to perform either. At most I would be Pedestrian A. (Would you and your wife guest star?) She wouldn't. Stop messing around, she has nothing to do with it. This director dream will be my gift to myself for the 50th birthday."
