The Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan and Philip Keung Ho Man starred, new director Ng Yuen Fai directed WARRIORS OF FUTURE (MING YUT JIN GEI) after almost four months in production finally wrapped up its Mainland location shoots. While shooting in the Mainland for almost four months, the cast all had "heavyweight" equipment that was as light as leather jacket or as heavy as Goo Jai and Ching Wan's over 30 pound mobile armor. Everyday they worked either in the air tight indoors or scorching climate. Thus at the moment of the wrap everyone could not wait to remove their "heavy" costumes and breathe a sigh of relief.

Goo Jai said,"This film took three years from our preparation to production start. Whether it was the story creation, armor, every gun, genetic bullet, each scene design, was done with all the effort. As an actor in his first science fiction film, I had a very fresh and memorable experience."

Speaking of having to wear over 30 pounds of mobile armor daily, Goo Jai said, "This costume to me was a physical challenge. On the surface it weighed over 30 pounds, but after putting it on it was at least 40 pounds with sweat. It also jabbed the lungs. In addition the shoot took place indoors with very little air, often I had difficulty to breathe. I often drank cold water not only for thirst but also had two custom made air conditioning pipes to cool down. Normally Ching Wan after putting on the costume would not take it off until he was done, but this time he couldn't. No matter who put on this mobile armor he had to take it off and take a break! Ching Wan and I often would have neck and shoulder pain; the burden was truly too much."
