Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai's latest film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2) has been scheduled for a November 11 release. After three years, this time the duo again worked with the original team. Since their first film together in 1990, THE STORY OF MY SON, To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai have already collaborated for 24 years. This time DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART expanded the previous installment's "two men and one women" story framework to "three men two women". In the film every character was shaped with clear personalities and ample emotions. Last time "Earth Man" Cheung Sun Yin (Louis Koo Tin Lok) proposed to Qing Ziran (Gao Yuanyuan) but was turned down. This time he would return to the field and compete with the Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) played "Mars Man". He will also set off spark with the Miriam Yeung Chin Wa played "stock goddess". "Venus Man" Vic Chou Yu Man's addition would make this film's story even more topical and explosive.

As for the new film, Wai Ka Fai was asked if he wanted to compare the Hong Kong and Mainland women's view on love through Yeung Chin Wa and Gao Yuanyuan. He said, "I have never liked to label Hong Kong and Mainland girls. These two characters only depict girls with different personalities' different attitude and views on men. Any woman would have a basic special quality to look at men." DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 after the Toronto International Film Festival screenings earlier in the month received overseas media' uniform praises. Next month it will participate in the Busan International Film Festival.
