The Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed cycling film TO THE FORE (POR FUNG) yesterday officially started production in Taiwan. Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin, producer Candy Leung Fung Ying, Eddie Peng Yu-Yen, Choi Si-Won and Shawn Dou Xiao along with lead actresses Wang Luodan, Ouyang Nana appeared. They all wore blue tee shirts with the film title on it as they cut the roast pig and worshiped together. The team earlier shot successfully in Hualien and Taichung. Later they will shoot in Hong Kong, Italy, Korea and the Mainland.

At the production start ceremony, aside from roast pig the crew even prepared 3 big piles of gold brick paper to pray for box office success. Leung Fung Ying joked, "One pile of paper symbolizes 100 million." They hoped for the box office to break 300 million. Lead actor Peng Yu-Yen even pretended that he could not lift up the gold brick in his hand, while Wang Luodan held it tight and refused to let it go. Later the actors decided to toss "300 million" at the director and "leave everything for the director to carry". Lam Chiu Yin awkwardly laughed.

Peng Yu-Yen said that since the shoot took place at home in Taiwan, he had to play host and properly treat everyone. Dou Xiao boldly said that he had to shake off his nickname "crash king" due to the most crashes during training. The final addition to the team Choi Si-Won said, he was very happy to have made several friends during this shoot. Lam Chiu Yin said that the entire team under his training has turned into bicycle experts. He said, "Especially the production team, they can operate a bicycle business." He also thanked all the actors for taking initiatives and being serious. As soon as they had time they trained on their own.

Because TO THE FORE had to display the feeling of professional cyclists, Lam Chiu Yin's heart ached when they were hurt in doing so. He said, "In order to maintain competition speed, they during training were often injured. However I hope that they would maintain their hot blooded condition. Such a long preparation is for the start today, I will bring everyone into the cycling world."

The film in order to display highway race scenes chose to shoot at the famous Meishan landmark "36 curve" on County Road 162A in Chiayi. Earlier due to Typhoon Matmo, the Hualien location was destroyed. The team decided to shoot in Chiayi first and luckily received Chiayi county government's support. The team completed all the application process in a day for the shoot to begin successfully. The authorities said that they were very happy that director Lam Chiu Yin chose the Meishan 36 Curve for the location of his film TO THE FORE and show the audience Meishan's elegant scenery.
