Eason Chan Yik Shun yesterday held an autograph session for his all new Mandarin record RICE & SHINE. Although it was hot and often rained, 600 people still lined up. Eason said that changed his "long winded" personality and shortened his conversations to keep fans for waiting too long. His personality changed completely because he finished Johnnie To Kei Fung's film DESIGN FOR LIVING (WA LAI SEUNG BAN JOOK), which made him much clearer with what he said and did. He also became more direct. For this film, he was the happiest about finally experiencing the joy of being an actor. He said, "This time I had the most scenes with Tang Wei and Cheung Ngai Ga (Sylvia Chang). (Any love scene?) Yes, but it's not physical. It's a little higher class. As for Fat Gor (Chow Yun Fat), we only had a staring scene. He constantly shared with us his stories, he was very nice. (Did he praise you?) No, but he said something that was very encouraging to me." Did To Sir who was famous for being "mean" yell at him? Eason said he did not, but he admitted that the pressure from the film production was greater than that of a concert tour.
