Wai Ying Hung recently has been in South Korea for the film WINTER IS HOPED. She took advantage of her free time to shop like crazy, spending over 2 million Won on my facial masks in several hours and even tried authentic Korean food. As for her Korean lines, she worked hard on memorizing them before departing. Once she arrived at the Korean set, she received last minute changes. Luckily she had two translators to help her. With her knack of language she very quickly learned the lines. Just in case she also wrote pronunciation hints on her hand.

She praised the Korean hunk Jo Han-Sun who played her son's great performance, in particular his body language expression. She also joked that in the story she had a son and a husband, but to explain the growth of her son the team got actors of ages 3, 6, 14, and 24 to play them and Korean actors surrounded him all day long. She felt very lucky. Only the drastic temperature difference between indoors and outdoors gave her a headache.
