Leon Lai Ming and Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) starred in FIRE OF CONSCIENCE (FOR LUNG), which premiered two days ago in Beijing and won many raves. The entire film's 100 minute nonstop gun fights and action chases complemented each other and brought the audience a lot of fun. Lai Ming's life risking performance even had shades of Jackie Chan in the past. Yam Yin Chai as the police force's refined scum earned the audience's sympathy.

At the same time, Lai Ming's "Brother Sharp" look, well trained agility and sharp observation power were full of tension and absolutely had a chance to compete for the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor. Many viewers felt that Yam Yin Chai's performance was no less than Lai Ming's. his refined scum performance was his best in recent years. Yet Yam Yin Chai complained that making FIRE OF CONSCIENCE scared him. "The director said that he would give us a best life risking award; let's not mention the running on the streets with guns, I also had to put on fire retardant to fight with Lai Ming in the fire and ram through glass. With shattered glass all over the floor Lai Ming and I had to roll of it. Thus I was very nervous, I didn't even have the guts to ask how much would the insurance cover."
