Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung's debut as a director, the film LOVE'S DISCOURSE (LUEN OI SHUI YU), will open in the summer. The cast included Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Kay Tse On Kay, Karena Lam Ka Yun and Jacky Heung Jor yesterday attended the film press conference. As Tsang Kwok Cheung's father Chi Wai even joked that on the set his son ordered him around. As for TVB's anti corruption storm, Chi Wai supported the three co-workers Stephen Chan Chi Wan, Chin Kwok Wai and Chan Wing Suen as not bad guys. He also claimed that artists sometimes did not know the commission standard had issues.

Yesterday the film's actors attended the promotion. Although Eason Chan Yik Shun could not attend in person, he still sent video in support. As for Lam Ka Yun and Eason's relationship scene, She revealed that when working at night Eason would sing to keep himself awake and give workers a free concert. Ka Yun in the film was stuck in a triangle with Heung Jor and Chan Yik Shun. She said that in real life this absolutely would not take place because she was the most afraid of complex relationship. Chi Wai was asked whether he charged a father and son rate. He joked that he had no idea what the so-called full rate was. Did his son keep his rate down? Chi Wai joked, "I am afraid he will have to drink coffee over these sensitive questions, actually mine is a seafood (seasonal) rate!"

As for the recent Television City corruption storm, Chi Wai honestly said that he had difficulty answering. "This question can't be answered because the case is still being handled. I am not at liberty to respond to any legal question, even if I answered I would be wrong. No matter what the charges are, no one needs to guess or comment! Just wait until the matter is in the open before replying!" He revealed that the three co-workers were considered familiar and stressed that none were bad people. He said, "I have known Chin Kwok Wai for a long time. He is a very strong and smart person in the production, aside from all the girls around him he had no problem! Chan Chi Wan is my superior, personally we are not close. However at work he is very competent. When the company faced downsizing he put a lot of effort into retaining co-workers, which changed my view of him because he is a great co-worker; as for Chan Wing Suen we had meetings for 72 TENANTS OF PROSPERITY (72 GA JO HAT), I feel he is very responsible and hard working. All 3 are my good co-workers, I hope through the media's pens to console them and wish them well!" Was he asked to help with the investigation? He said, "No! I field my own jobs. Anyone who is looking for me goes through TVB without anyone in the middle. Actually this sensitive question is a great lesson for artists. No one knows about any legal conflict. The Mainland has many performance with different rates as the middle men take commission since the artists had no time to field jobs themselves. If any issue arose in the middle we wouldn't know. I hope everyone have learned a lesson and be more careful with the handling from now on!"
